Drug abuse and addiction is a very tough thing to deal with, especially if you have witnessed a loved one involved with using, or even drinking (alcohol is considered a drug). And if you have have troubles yourself, we understand. Some of us have dealt with all of the above, and have recovered ourselves, or helped our own loved ones into recovery from various afflictions and addiction.
With an intervention for a loved one, an interventionist is nearly essential in most cases for the best chance of success, as well as the least amount of problems that can happen as a result of a poorly or inexperienced intervention, which can make matters worse, potentially for all involved.
